Hello!
My name is Jay Michael Sr., Composer, vocalist, musician and performing artist. I have well over 30 years experience writing music, singing, playing several instruments and performing.

I perform a variety of cover music Country, Classic Rock, Oldies, Easy Listening, Gospel, Contemporary Christian and some instrumental only music. My original compositions cover multiple genre of music. I have performed for audiences as large as 18,000. My instrument of choice is the 12 string acoustic guitar, but I also play 6 string acoustic and electric guitar frequently. On occasion I also perform and/or write using the banjo, violin, harmonica and keys among other instruments.

I have been singing and playing music on whatever instrument I could buy or borrow since I was about 7 years old. I have been writing since I was about 12 years old. I was so infatuated with music, I earned two majors and a minor in music by the time I graduated high school. As a Registered Nurse, Reserve Police Officer and past Emergency Rescue/Fire Fighter I have plenty of inspiration to write. I love to share my music and would cherish the chance to share it with the world. I feel so blessed when I see people in my audience smile, sing along or shed a tear with my songs!
